Three ERM Ph.D. students have recently begun their careers with prestigious organizations while in the final stages of completing their dissertations. Xinrui Wang has secured the position of Psychometrician with Pearson VUE, Drew Dallas has been appointed Psychometrician with the National Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants, and Xiao Luo has assumed the position of Senior Statistician with the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. In these roles, Wang, Dallas, and Luo will apply their expertise in areas of statistical modeling, educational measurement, item response theory, and large-scale test development. All of these skills are foundational to the ERM Academic Programs. That all three of these individuals secured highly desirable positions prior to completion of their Doctorates is a testament to the high demand for individuals with this training and the rigorous professional preparation offered to ERM students. More information about careers in the areas of research methodology, educational measurement, and psychometrics is provided on the Careers page of the ERM website.
