As a result of ERM’s exceptional standing with respect to research, teaching, and service, the department has been granted permission to add an additional tenured faculty member specializing in the area of Program Evaluation. The faculty position is at the rank of Associate or Full Professor, which ensures that the successful candidate will have extensive experience in methodology and relevant applications to the evaluation of programs and organizations. The addition of a senior faculty member to ERM’s evaluation group will further strengthen the training in program evaluation provided by ERM’s graduate programs, and promises to generate additional funded projects in the area of program evaluation that support hands-on student learning experiences facilitated by ERM faculty and the department’s Office of Assessment, Evaluation, and Research Services (OAERS). The position is currently advertised on the online job posting sites of the Chronicle of Higher Education, the American Educational Research Association, and the American Evaluation Association.
